Eliot took lots landscape and nature images.More specifically of trees, leaves, etc. His photos are full of lots of different bright and energetic colors that work well and represent unity, the colors don’t clash together. The photos that Porter took weren’t personal but some could’ve been.most of his pictures were just taken from his perspective the way he spoke to the world was through his images. He took these pictures so that most of his viewers would see what he saw.
Eliot Porter influenced me because landscape images were fun to take but also challenged me to get up close and really focus in on my images, as well as trying to avoid getting anything other than landscape in my image.I tried to my best ability to get my images to look very similar to Eliot's,but since I wasn't in the same location made it difficult. His images didn't have foot steps in them and i was able to not have foot prints in my images as well. Also Eliot also his images didn't have as much snow in them as mine did when I took my images there was about 6 inches of snow on the ground. My images were taken at bird hills nature area and my neighborhood I had to take my images from several different viewpoints to get the picture exactly how I wanted it to be. I also tried to balance my trees so that the trees weren't right in the center of the frame but a little off to the side.A challenge I had was the now was constantly falling and would make my lens a little blurry so my pictures looked a little funky, but I was finally able to get 3 solid pictures that I was con
